We have decided to offer for sale this week, more of our vintage fashion magazines. This particular auction is for the Sept. 1, 1954 issue of VOGUE magazine....with features on the 8 best looks of the Paris collections.....showcasing such designers as Balenciaga, Dior (with the new slim suit), Fath, Balmain, Gevenchy and Lanvin-Castillo. Also is a feature on the “new gentle look” in American Fashion with fashions created by Ben Zuckerman, Irene, Teal Traina, Norell, and Claire McCardell. Plus all those great vintage ads! Magazine is in very good condition. Binding intact, cover good and all inside pages are perfect. The magazine does have a slight musty odor from being stored in a basement for many years.....this is a great addition to any collection and be sure to check out our other listings for more great, vintage fashion magazines!
