Genuine 1980's monophonic analogue synth by Sequential Circuits. This synth has been cherished but unplayed (literally) for decades! Recently brought back to life with a full service by 'Synth Doctor', retro-enthusiast and friend - Dr. Chris Powell - Oxford: the keyboard contacts have been cleaned, a faulty oscillator replaced with an original CEM-3340 chip and the system 'tuned'. All features are fully functioning, pots and switches are clean from scratch/noise. This synth has the serial number 7274 and was bought by my brother in 1981 (?) from Biggles Music, 85, West Street, Bristol and it moved to Oxford with me in about 1984/5 when he upgraded to a polyphonic and his Mrs 'insisted' he found it a new home. Thereafter it's been tucked away safely in a cupboard for a good 20 years. It can programmed using the 40 - note sequencer in step time - but spaces can be added to give simple rhythm effects - these can come into their own when the synth is hooked up through an echo unit - and I've discovered awesome baselines and 'groove riffs' this way. ...oh...and it has the original manual, (very much worse for wear however) with some of the patch blanks filled in.
