Giancarlo Guidi, the founder of Ser Jacopo Pipes, was a very talented and imaginative pipe maker. His pipes had a style all their own. One of his most brilliant ideas was to take the various pipes that were pictured in Vincent Van Gogh's paintings and make stylized versions of them for pipe aficionados to own and enjoy. These were called the "Picta" series. Giancarlo Guidi had passed away in 2012, and this wonderful "Picta" series of pipes has not been made in years. i recently came across a small cache of these for my eBay customers. They are truly delightful, unique, and extremely well made pipes.
