Ovoid bronze medal with loop for ribbon suspension; the face with a Serbian double-headed eagle inscribed ‘JOURNEE SERBE’ below, bearing a circular crowned medallion with the heads of King Petar I and Crown Prince Alexander facing right, circumscribed ‘PIERRE I ALEXANDRE’, a plaque below inscribed ‘GLORIEUX DEFENSEURS DE LA LIBERTE SERBE – СЛАВНИ ЗАТОЧНИЦИ С� ПСКЕ СЛОБОДЕ 1914-1915’ (Glorious Defenders of Serbian Liberty 1914-1915), signed ‘TSM LORDONNOIS GRAVEUR EDIT’; the reverse with a Serbian double-headed eagle inscribed ‘1916’ below, bearing a circular crowned medallion with the arms of the Allied nations within a ring inscribed ‘GLOIRE AUX INTREPIDES HEROS SERBES’ (Glory to the intrepid Serb heroes), a ribbon at the crown inscribed ‘SECOURS NATIONAL’ (national relief), bronze assay mark; The medal was issued on Serbia Day, 25 June 1916, an historic medal see /sold/product_info.php?products_id=1377
