Sergey Cherepanov is a 43 year old Russian pipe maker from Moscow, who is good friends with famous Russian pipe makers Sergey Ailarov and Michial Revyagin. He is using the same briar wood as his friends. Folks, I can tell you that this guy is talented! The fit and finish of Sergey's pipes are very precise and the finish is beautiful. His engineering is spot on. You are bidding on a NEW, UNSMOKED, JUST CARVED condition hand crafted "Billiard" shaped pipe, with a beautiful smooth cross grain finish, and an exotic two knuckle bamboo shank, that was hand crafted by Sergey Cherepanov just a couple of weeks ago. This gorgeous pipe is both wonderfully grained and artistically shaped. This exquisite smaller sized Russian hand crafted briar feels oh so very right in your hand. It is superbly crafted, with perfect engineering. The balance feels great. A pipe cleaner will pass to the bottom of the bowl. The ebonite stem is cut nice and thin for comfort in the mouth. This one is sure to draw favorable comment wherever it may be enjoyed! Here are the dimensions of this gorgeous well made pipe: The length is about 4.80". The bowl height is about 1.625". The tobacco chamber is about 0.73" in diameter and gradually tapers down the bowl's 1.50" inner depth. Capacity is about the same as a Group 3 to 4 Dunhill size pipe. The weight is 21 grams. The original tan suede leather pipe bag pictured below is included. Once again, this is a ( 7)SEVEN-DAY( 7) no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices.
