You are bidding on a complete set of 13 books in the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series, all of which were written by Lemony Snicket and published by HarperCollins. All of the books are hardcovers without dust jackets (as issued). The condition of the books ranges from G+ (good plus) to NF (near fine or near mint), with my rating scale progressing as follows: G . . G+ . . VG- . . VG . . VG+ . . NF- . . NFA book that is in G condition will have more wear than average, but it will not have any major flaws that would make it unreadable or terribly unsightly. The cover may be a little soiled and/or tanned from age and will have moderate or more edge wear. The corners may have been bumped a little. The spine may be a little faded, lightly slanted and/or a little cocked. Some of the colour on the letters on the spine may have rubbed off. The corners of the cover may have been bumped. There may be a name, inscription or bookstore stamp inside somewhere. The pages will be tight, but they may be less crisp than when new, may show some age tanning, and may have smudges, stains and corner folds. Two or three pages may have a very small edge tear. Book number nine has some abrasion on the spine, and book number thirteen has a spine that curves inward.A book that is in NF condition will be almost like new. The cover may have a hint of edge
