This particular auction is for four cordinating pierced rim Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles recticulated creamware plate chargers that I'm selling this week. You get all four plates for the winning bid! Each plate measures 10 3/8" in diameter. Each is in brand new, never been used condition! Each features a lovely raised border edge with raised floral and other designs among the plate's pierced cut-outs. T is a different lovely pink transferware British castle scene medallion in the center of each plate. Each is signed as follows... Ragland Castle in 1792 , Ruthin Castle in 1792 , Windsor Castle in 1792 , and Blarney Castle in 1792. Each plate would make a beautiful, unique individual wall hanging to give seperately as gifts this holiday season; or, the four plates would look lovely combined together in a grouping! Each plate is marked on the back with the " Johnson Brothers, England 1883 @, Old British Castles @ " logo. This set of four plates originally retailed for $150.00 to $200.00 a set and is now retired and Very Hard to Find!
