Nice set of five books. by Davis, Richard Harding. Charles Scribner's Sons. maroon covers with gold decoration and lettering, rough cut pages, gilt top edge of pages. Title pages say" Charles Scribner's Sons New York:::::::::::::1904". But the books have different published dates, so I am not sure if they were published in 1904 or earlier., books are in overall very nice condition with some wear on the covers, pages very nice with a little wear around the edges. ------ 1. Ranson's Folly. says published July 1902. . With illustrations by Frederic Remington - stagecoach with horses driver being held up by bandit, ranson spinning his revolver, Walter Appleton Clark, Howard Chandler Christy - young man playing violin., E.M. Ashe - I suppose I'm the ugliest bulldog in America"victorian girl walking two dogs. "miss dorothy snatches me up and kisses me between the ears" and F. Dorr Steele.
