Set of 2 BROWN TRANSFERWARE CONDIMENTS ~~ RUSTIC 1886 Description & Details **** FREE SHIPPING TO THE LOWER USA **** AESTHETIC MOVEMENT ERA BROWN TRANSFERWARE CONDIMENT DISHES RUSTIC PATTERN Burgess and Leigh ~ Hill Pottery Staffordshire England c. 1886 These wonderful Victorian aesthetic movement chutney or condiment square dishes measure 4 3/4 inches x 4 3/4 inches and are transfer printed in dark brown. The pattern features a songbird in flight, an urn filled with cherry blossom flowers. Exotic fruit with a multitude of flowers frame the aesthetic cartouche of a distant country landscape. Wonderful geometric designs complete the great small works of art. Never Used and in great condition. Small backside nicks to the pointed corners and a shaved type chip to one backside foot rim. Square shaped pieces in this great pattern are a rarity.
