Set of 3 GDA Limoges Schleiger 195 Gilded Variant Bread Plates Circa 1900 - 1941Set of 3 porcelain bread plates. Nicely decorated in a variant of the Schleiger 195 pattern with pink floral garlands and a band of pink roses. Has gold gilding along the edge. I could not find a Schleiger 195 variant with the gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse in green GDA France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot in Limoges France between 1900 and 1914 in Limoges France. Also marked in red CH Field Haviland Limoges. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot in Limoges France between 1900 and 1914 in Limoges France.Two of the plates each have a small chip to the edge that were gilded over in manufacture. Otherwise there is some wear to the gilding, but no post manufacture chips or cracks.Each plate measures 6 1/8" wide.These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.Please see my other listings for more Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot and other Limoges porcelain.
