Up for auction is a Fantastic Set of 6 Signed Hitchcock Dining Chairs! I believe the color is Riverton and they have their original cornflower blue upholstered seats with gold paint stenciled accents. The white spots shown in the pictures are from the flashes, not on the actual chairs. I HAVE 10 OF THESE CHAIRS, I WILL BE OFFERING THEM IN TWO AUCTIONS, ONE SET OF 6, THE OTHER A SET OF 4, SO IF YOU WANT 10, PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS! Almost all of them are in fabulous original condition, with just some minor wear and light scratches like you would expect to see on the seats and top of the backs. One of the chairs has two small wooden caps covering screws I assume, as shown, and another chair has a small piece missing out of the top as shown as well. That is the extent of the serious damage, the rest is minor wear and tear from normal use in a home. The seats can all use some new upholstery due to stains, I haven't tried to clean them because I assume you will want to recover them, which is a VERY simple do it yourself job. Local delivery is available at the rate of $1.00/mi with a $40 minimum within our delivery area, which extends from North of Boston, east to Cape Cod and West/South to New York, NY.
