Texas Ware Plates, cups & saucers I just finished washing and inspecting this set of dishes. I didn't think it was possible to chip this stuff, but one of the large plates has a small chip on the back side near the edge of the plate. There are no other chips or cracks. There is utensil wear which varies from plate to plate. The set consists of the following items: 7 - large plates with leaf design - approximately ten inches in diameter 8 - saucers also with the leaf design - approximately six inches in diameter 8 - small plates solid brown matching the cups - also approximately six inches in diameter 6 - coffee cups solid brown - 3-3/4" diameter at the rim and about 2-1/2" high 2 - bowls solid white - 5-3/4" in diameter The cups, saucers and small plates show the least amount of utensil wear. In the picture of the small plate alone, it looks like it is a different color than the cups. That is just because I am not the greatest photographer. The small plates match the cups and are brown. The picture of the entire group and the picture of the cup and saucer together are closer to the actual color. The two bowls were with this set, but I believe they are actually a different brand.
