PICTURES AND INFORMATION ARE BELOW. 4 PULP HERO MODEL KITS DOC SAVAGE ~ THE SPIDER ~ THE SHADOW & THE AVENGER This auction is for 4 (four) resin model kits of the great pulp heros of the 1930's and '40's. The set includes: Doc Savage, The Shadow, The Spider and The Avenger. Each kit is sealed in the original bag and is in "new" condition. I do not know who produced these kits, or when, or who the original sculpture(s) were, but here is further information for each kit: DOC SAVAGE - The kit is based on the cover of the first paperback by James Bama "The Man of Bronze" published by Bantam Books. The kit is only 2 (two) pieces), the figure and the base. The figure is 4 1/2 inches tall (appx.) and the base looks like a sandy beach with a very nice "Doc Savage" Logo (paperback version). The base is 3 1/2 inches round (appx.) THE AVENGER - Again, the kit is based on the paperback version published by Warner Books. The kit is in 4 (four) pieces. The figure, two arms and the base. The figure is 4 3/4 inches tall (appx.), the right had is holding the knife ("Ike") and the left hand is cluched in a fist. The base is 2 1/2 inches round (appx.) and has a very nice logo of "The Avenger" (Paperback version.) THE SPIDER - The kit is in 6 (six) pieces).
