VintageAluminum Kitchen Canisters Set of five vintage French aluminum kitchen canisters featuring SUCRE (sugar), CAFÉ(coffee), ÉPICES (spices), THÉ (tea) and POIVRE (pepper) in riveted copper tags . Rather stout, they range in size from 6½” to 4” tall with lids, and from 5” to about 3” in diameter at the top. Each underside is trademark-etched “MF [Manufrance], Manufacture française d’Armes et Cycles, Saint-Etienne”. (strangely enough, “MF, French Armament and Bicycles Factory”!). As shown, this utilitarian set is in excellent vintage condition despite some minor bumps and wear earned with age and usage, and minimal oxidation at the bottom of some interiors. Of note as well a pin-sized – and barely noticeable - pierce towards the bottom of the Spices canister, Still, rather than distracting, the wear gives the set an authentic – and very attractive – vintage feel. With their nicely aged silver patina , these canisters will lend a lovely touch of French charm to any country-style décor! ! Shipping information · Item located in FRANCE .
