5 day auction.. This auction is for a Seth Thomas mantle clock case, with adamantine. This is a very desirable shape. The case is in pretty tight condition, this is circa 1906.This case has lot of potential, please note that there is no movement/dial/hands included, the gong is included with the case. The case is in good condition, the ornaments maintain their copper patina, usual nicks with the age, the original gold scroll work is beautiful, two side lions with rings, and a two celloloid colums on each side, the top adamantine is green colr and very shiny, it was a project case for me, and I bought it recently, the clock case is not coated with any polyurethene for shine, the adamantine has its own shiny finish. There is small adamantine repair, at 12 O clock position, over the dial, if you have'nt noticed it in the first glance, no one will, but it generally hides pretty well when the dial is in place. Please note that the dial is not included in the auction, it is listed in another of my auctions. I've added a closeup in sunlight, this is obvious when looked under reflection, but not prominent other wise.
