Made by Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston Connecticut, U.S. Navy Ships Clock. Professionally serviced recently and in excellent working condition. Manufacturing date of 1940's. Seth Thomas 8 day high grade time only brass mechanical movement. Seven jewel lever escapement platform with micrometer type regulator. This all original clock has been mounted in a newly polished and lacquered genuine Seth Thomas forged brass case with a screw on bezel. This clock has a 6 1/2 inch 24 hour engraved black finish brass dial, brass backplate and brass spade hands painted white. Original aluminum full sweep seconds hand. Runs for 8 or more days on a single full winding. This clock is keeping accurate time and running strong. Ready to be a faithful timekeeper of the sea. Seth Thomas maritime clocks in this near mint condition are rarely offered for auction. They are highly desirable and collectable. A proper size #5 Chelsea mainspring winding key will be included.
