This lovely wood case Alarm Clock is made by Seth Thomas. It is believed to be a Court "Baby Ben". Purchased at an estate sale, and I was told it was made in the early 1950's. On the bottom of the clock a label is attached that reads:.....Seth Thomas Clocks.....COURT......Thomaston, Conn.....U S A. Also stamped in black numbers is 5111. You can see a 4 that is engraved into the wood on the right corner. I'm not sure what type of wood is around the clock. It has what appears to be some type of brass ring around the clock . It says made in the U. S. A. inside the face-under the 6. .The numbers are nice and readable. Measures approx 4" wide, and approx 3 3/4" high. The wood sides measure approx 1 3/4" wide. The clock and alarm appears to be in working order. I did notice that the alarm setting button is somewhat loose, but it still works. I'm sure it should be cleaned from years of use, but I will leave that up to the experts. The wood will show some very minor age flaws, but it appears to have surived in very good condition. I have not checked to see how accurate the clock is, but it appears to be in good working order. This is a used vintage clock, and I'm sure with it's vintage age/use it could use a little fine tuning, but it appears to be in good to very good condition.....Selling as is condition Please view the pictures for read more
