This story is from Genesis 24 of the Bible. This is a beautiful statue clock by Seth Thomas and Sons, that has double statues and clock in between them. This piece measures 15 x 14 1/4 inches and comes with a porcelain dial that is 3 1/4 inches in diameter with roman numerals with thick beveled glass. In addition, this is signed on the dial by Mitchell, Vance, & Co., who were the retailers. This also features a signed movement by Seth Thomas & Sons, Thomaston, Ct. This runs on a pendulum driven movement with strike on ho urs on a bell. These are very interesting statues and a clock that is circa 1875-1880. Please note there is an old repair on the palm tree.
