They are larger and offer twice as much padding to cut down on fatigue. The old style shoulder pads measure 3" by 9" and are drab green. The pads on this pack are Woodland Camo and measure 4" by 14" and have a slight "V" shape for added comfort for those longer hikes. -Photos used in this auction are stocks photos. - Item pictured is an example of the product you will recieve Features: (2) Adjustable top strap with metal strap lock attaches pads to frame (2) Woodland camo padded shoulder straps (right and left) with metal quick release snaps (2) adjustable lower straps with metal slide adjusters and quick release buckles (1) cross chest strap with heavy plastis buckles Pictures show one complete set.
