This selection of Japanese sewing tools probably dates to about the 1970s, in includes scissors, a marking wheel, an angle guage, a vinyl measuring tape (in centimeters), wooden spool, and a tin box full of miscellaneous buttons, hooks, and other such ephemera.All the pieces are in good condition, but the scissors have some light overall oxidation that can be cleaned up quite easily. They otherwise undamaged and measure L6 1/8" (155mm), with L2 5/8" (66mm) cutting edges. The 50 or so buttons inside the box are mostly plastic, and have a distinctly 1960-1970s look to them. A few match each other, but most are orphans. For scale, the tin box measures W6 3/8" (161mm) X H1 7/8" (50mm) X D3" (77mm).
