MELODY MAKER MAGAZINE - JANUARY 28 1978 This is the holy grail of British weeklies and comes in a standard tabloid format of 13" X 17 1/2". Everybody read this and it set the pace for things to come. It started out covering mostly jazz and popular music but in 1963 when the "beat boom" kicks in this becomes the main coverage. It has chart positions, interviews, bio's, record reviews, live concert reviews and the best record company ads. And the coolest live concert ads anywhere. This issue has articles by Talking Heads, Sex Pistols, Frank Zappa, Bob Dylan, Radio Stars, Blue Oyster Cult, Robert Gordon, Babys, XTC and tons more. This is in Very Good condition with some yellowing and slight wear and some damage on fold line on 3 pages.
