SG-14V CUSTOM HANDMADE D-2 DIE STEEL KNIFE DESCRIPTION Item Condition : NEW Art #: SG-14V Overall Length is=7” Blade Length is=3-1/2” Handle Length is=3-1/2" Note: Above measurements are aproximate,please see pictures with scale for exact measurements. This is a full tang MIRROR finished approximately 3.5mm thick, D-2 DIE steel knife WITH ROCK SOLID HARDNESS OF 60 HRC.. The blade was hardened up to 63HRC,then tempered down to 60HRC The hardening process is done in an automatic and controlled environment with the help of a vacuum oven for heating and Nitrogen gas for quenching. Handle is made of BURL WOOD with BRASS PINS. Wood is cured/stablized and made water resistant with a special treatment.
