SG-75C CUSTOM HANDMADE D-2 DIE STEEL MEAT CLEAVER. DESCRIPTION Item Condition : NEW Art #: SG-75C Overall Length is=8” Blade Length is=3-1/2 X 2-1/2” Handle Length is=4-1/2" This is a full tang MIRROR finished approximately 3.5mm thick, D-2 DIE steel MEAT CLEAVER WITH ROCK SOLID HARDNESS OF 60 HRC.. The blade was hardened up to 63HRC,then tempered down to 60HRC The hardening process is done in an automatic and controlled environment with the help of a vacuum oven for heating and Nitrogen gas for quenching. Handle is made of BURL WOOD with BRASS BOLSTERS and PINS. Wood is cured/stablized and made water resistant with a special treatment.
