wooden engineers toolbox , my friend was given this when he was working at sea by another seaman. It had it's tools still in it but unfortunately my husband wanted them :( This measures 21 in x 11.5 x 9 and is very heavy. Has 2 layers the first top bit is felted green and lifts out. On the lid of box it has MV 4774 etched into it (don't know whether this is linked to the ship it was used on ) It has the old wear marks and is a bit grubby, I did clean this up but didn't want to sand it too much as it would take it's character away i have finished it off with a coat of wax.
