Shaftesbury Duo Fuzz, Univox Superfuzz, Shin-ei One of the most sought after and rare pedals of all time. Exactly the same circuit as the Univox Superfuzz and many other Shin-ei fuzzes that were made in Japan in the 1960’s and 70’s. The Shaftesbury duo seems to be the rarest incarnation of this pedal, maybe because people love them and never sell them on.Not much you can say about this pedal really, if you’re looking at it you probably already know what it does and how it sounds (plenty of youtube videos out there for superfuzzes, not many for the duo which tells you how rare these are, think i found about 4 or 5). The pedal is in great condition, paint has worn slightly on the edges and the metal plate on the base has aged. As far as I know these don’t ever have serial numbers on them but the diagram on the base has a stamp that reads: SM 46. 5 NO, if that means anything to anyone. All the guts of the pedal are original, read more
