All three reels were purchased circa 1950's. The 1779 was purchased by me as my first reel when I was in 7th grade. The other two were my Mom and Dad's reels. The reels spent their entire fishing "careers" at our cottage on Shawano Lake in east central Wisconsin. All still work, but I would not use as my only, or my primary reel if fishing for your trophy fish. Good enough for panfishing or jigging game fish. Sold more for the vintage look of these old reels.
