T is no reserve.An Original Photograph: Shanghai World War One Memorial with Soldiers checking on civilians at a military check-point.It measures 5 1/4 inches By 3 1/4 inches (13.3cm by 8.25cm).I have magnified 2 details of this intriguing photo: (1) A Close-up Of The War Memorial. (2) A Close-up Of the Soldier & a worried civilian.This is one of 6 auctions of original photographs (3 of single photos & 3 groups of photos) I am offering this evening on eBay.At first they were difficult to date, however after some research I can say they can be dated to 1926 -1927, as one of the photographs is of the Royal Navy's HMS Frobisher which was at the China Station in 1926 & that The Royal Air Force had an Air Base at Shanghai Racecourse in 1927.I will combine shipping on photos & postcards.
