A FINE CUP AND SAUCER FROM THE CAUGHLEY FACTORY DECORATED IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITH THE "CHANTILLY SPRIGS" PATTERN C.1780 WHILST THE PATTERN IS QUITE COMMON ON CAUGHLEY PORCELAIN, THE SHAPE OF THE CUP IS QUITE UNUSUAL WITH ITS ORNATE HANDLE. BOTH PIECES ARE FINISHED WITH A SINGLE BLUE LINE TO THE RIM THE SAUCER IS MARKED WITH THE CAUGHLEY S FOR SALOPIAN CONDITION IS EXCELLENT WITH JUST TWO TINY CHIPS TO THE CUP, OTHERWISE PERFECT DIAMETER OF SAUCER IS 13.2 cms PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT OTHER PIECES OF 18TH CENTURY ENGLISH PORCELAIN BEING LISTED OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS
