Old SHAPLEIGH HDWE. CO. DIAMOND EDGE large oval stockman pattern 3 5/8 in. closed, all 3 tangs marked, have also heard this one called a pumpkinseed pattern. Condition is used worn and pitted just as pictured. Big blade is lazy with no snap, other 2 snap open and closed just fine. Jigged bone handles are pocket worn, front side has a crack from the top bolster to the shield, back side is A-OK, fancy slanted and pinched bolsters. I have been a HARDCORE collector of St. Louis knives for over 35 years and have seen only 4 Shapleigh knives of this pattern in genuine bone handles. Please look at the pics - they are an important part of the description. This is tough pattern to find in ANY brand knife. Winning bidder pays $4.60 for USPS Priority mail (new rate!).
