UP FOR AUCTION TONIGHT IS THE MOST UNIQUE VALENTINES DAY CARD I HAVE EVER SEEN. ON THE FRONT IS A NICE RED HEART WITH A CHERUB HOLDING A LITTLE SIGN THAT SAYS"SHARON, PA. ALSO PRINTED ON THE HEART IS "THE HEART". UNDER THE HEART IN TYPEWRITTEN LETTERING IS "COPYWRITED 1907 BY M. TUCHOR. Pat Applied For. ON THE INSIDE ON ONE HALF IS PRINTED" THIS SPACE FOR MESSAGE" ON THE OTHER SIDE ARE TWO CHERUBS HOLDING A HEART. INSIDE THE HEART ARE FOLD OUT (ACCORDIAN STYLE) 24 PICTURES OF LOCAL SHARON PA BUSSINESS INCLUDING THE POST OFFICE, BANKS, SHARON STEEL PLANTS, RESTAURANTS ETC.PLEASE ASK IF T IS A PARTICULAR ONE YOU WANT TO SEE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THESE BUSINESSES HAVE TO DO WITH VALENTINES DAY, BUT IT SURE MAKES FOR AN UNUSUAL CARD. ON THE BACK IS A MESSAGE WRITTEN TO A 'ERMA NICKLIN " IN CLARKS MILLS PA.IT WAS MAILED IN 1913. IF IT WAS PATENT PENDING IN 1907 AND STILL IN 1913 THAT MEANS THE GOVERNMENT WORKED SLOW-----EVEN THEN. ON THE BACK IN THE MIDDLE NEAR THE BOTTOM IS A SOME DISCOLORATION-NOT A TEAR. POSTAGE IS EXACT POSTAGE ONLY
