Welcome to Estate Sale Direct Link!Wade & Butcher Sheffield Wedge Straight Razor in custom Toxic Green & Black Kirinite Scales! The blade measures 7/8, comes honed and stropped to shave ready. This razor has been professionally restored, leaving the etch on the face intact. The etch reads "Freedom Commerce Strength United" and features an Eagle above American and British flags and shields.* A note about "shave ready" razors sold on eBay and why you can buy with confidence here.All Straight Razors we list as "Shave Ready" have been professionally honed up to a 12,000 grit finishing hone or its equivalent natural hone and then stropped on linen followed by leather. Each razor gets a shave test directly after stropping. The shave test is not a hht, nor is it a test of whether or not a razor shaves arm hair! A hht is only meant as a test during honing progressions, and a blade honed only to 220 grit can cut arm hair. Those tests DO NOT ensure a razor is shave ready. For a true test of whether a blade is shave ready a shave test needs to be performed. When purchasing a "Shave Ready Straight Razor" from an eBay seller it is prudent to ask them whether or not a shave test has been performed, and specify this means a shave test of the face, not a test of arm hair cutting.Each razor we sell is tested in this manner right before boxing up
