You are looking at a 1920 flat-top Sheaffer pen with Sterling silver "engraved vine" overlay. I found this pen (as well as a gold Conklin in another auction) in my grandfather's attic and know very little about pens. The following was written by a professional vintage pen dealer. As I am not a pen dealer, this pen is being sold as-is. "This pen is lever filled. It appears as though the nib is a Waterman's Ideal. All of the other parts appear to be original. It does show some wear and tarnish. T is a slight bit of corrosion by the lever w the overlay meets the barrel threads. It is nearly 4.5 inches long capped." Email questions arewelcomed.
