SHEAFFER'S W/D BALANCE L/F FOUNTAIN PEN c 1936 SHEAFFER'S W/D BALANCE L/F FOUNTAIN PEN c 1936 THE PEN A LOVELY LOOKING PEN A MIX OF LIGHT AND DARK SILVERED ROSE WITH BLACK IN A VERTICAL STRIATED DESIGN. WITH GOLD FILLED TRIM. SHEAFFER'S CALLED THIS CARMINE STRIATED. THE PEN FILLS AND THE "CANADIAN 14K 585" NIB WRITES WITH FINE LINE. A MEDIUM PEN 4 ⅞ inches CAPPED AND 5 ⅝ POSTED. Overall very nice condition. THE CAP Flushed and cleaned of old dried ink. Air holes (if present) cleaned and unblocked.Gently hand cleaned and polished.The Gold filled clip is fixed to the cap and stamped SHEAFFER"S, above which is the WHITE DOT.The cap has a Gold coloured Band.Please note there is some plating loss to the cap band. THE BARREL Flushed and cleaned of old dried ink.Old sac removed from section and new fitted.Gently hand cleaned and polished. A gold coloured lever and a barrel imprint ofW.A.SHEAFFER PEN COFORT MADISON IOWA USAPATENTED IN USA THE NIB, FEED AND SECTION Flushed and cleaned of old dried ink.Old sac removed from section and new fitted.Gently hand cleaned and polished.The pen has not been re - filled with ink since the new sac fitted.The Gold & Silver coloured nib is stamped.SHEAFFER'SMADE IN CANADA 14K - 585 The pen has the Sheaffer's VISULATED section.Dip tested with ink and writes with a fine line.PLEASE LOOK AT OUR OTHER VINTAGE FOUNTAIN PENS, AND PEN REPAIR ITEMS.
