A Shearwater Art Pottery Lamp Base, c. 1970, thrown and decorated by Peter Anderson (American/Mississippi, 1901-1984), in an alkaline blue double glaze, the base marked with circular Shearwater stamp; together with a Shearwater Pottery authentication certificate, signed and dated "10/23/80 Marjorie A. Ashley" (Peter Anderson's daughter), height 13 1/4 in., width 6 in.
