Sheffield Silver Plate Penguin Salt Shakers Art Deco This is a charming and quirky little pair of art deco penguin salt and pepper shakers. The pair are silver plated by Silversmiths James Deakin and Sons of Sheffield. The pieces are in good condition but there are two tiny flaws to mention - one is that one penguin has slight distortion to the silver plate around the part where the beak joins the mouth - it is sturdy and only visible on a close inspection (appearing as a build up of silver metal see photo 1 to penguin to left). The other is that whilst one piece opens with ease the other is more challenging to open. Whilst I feel I have set a fair price for these pieces, I am more than open to reasonable offers as I would love for the set to find a nice new home. Questions are more than welcome.
