This is a grouping of advertisements and pictures from Shelbyville, Illinois. They came from a grouping of papers and pictures formerly owned by Lonnie Watson. T is a bill with envelope of The M. J. Wilson Auto Company "We trade for anything" with Charles Wilson Manager, phone 34 or 405. It has the old Mercury and Ford symbol on the envelope. T is a letter and insurance card from the E. D. Reed General Insurance at 322 E. Main St,. Phone 536 office 726 residence and the insurance provided was for a 1951 Chevrolet Tudor owned by Pete Watson. T is also a license for a 1957 Cushman Eagle scooter. T is a report card from Shelbyville Community Unit District 4 Shelbyville, Illinois, Junior High School. The Teacher was L. E. Brady and the principal was N. C. Arnold 1953-54. T is a picture of the football team and a much older picture of a basketball team with some names on the back. I will print as many names as I can read. Benny Kerr, Danny Downs, J. Tolen, David Faulkner, David Tice, James Holland, Michael Smith, Edgar Clemons, Robert Johnston, Leroy Honkins, Cheerleader (not in picture) was Beverly Baptist. T is also Margie Watkens and Beverly Watson named on the back. The colors were purple & white. Forgive misspelling but the handwriting is in pencil and not perfect. The picture has soiling and edges have creases.
