A fine Dainty shaped oval salad or serving bowl by Shelley, England, in their 'Stocks' pattern dating from the late 1950's. The bowl (which is pale pink edged) stands one and a half inches in height with upper rim measurements of ten inches by eight inches, the backstamp being that of the scripted within shield 'Shelley, England, Fine Bone China' one as applied to the factory's wares during the period 1938-1966 with pattern name 'Stocks' and number 13428. This bowl is in excellent condition, ringing clearly and thus confirming the presence of no hidden hairlines; certainly no chips or cracks, nor any scratches, fading, crazing, rubbing, discolouration, etc., and no restoration. There is no reserve and our start price is a simply nominal one.
