A very pretty Shelley Violette pot which is around 8cm high and is decorated in an Art Nouveau style although it is not clear from the mark if this was made in the First World War years or between 1918 to 1939.The mark is Shelley England in green and the pattern Violette is in black lettering with the rgd number 657617.Unfortunately the black glazing is dull and patchy and there is some black marks on the base. However there are no chips or cracks. Although the glazing is crazed internally.I have two other pieces of Violette listed and if anyone wishes to bid for all three I will combine the postage.
