4 Shenango China Blue Bird Grapefruit Bowls Hotel Bossert '55 World Series Brooklyn-- White body Grapefruit or Cereal Bowls with a rim of Scrolling Blue Leaves and four "Window Panes" of Blue Birds on a Branch. Known as The Bossert Hotel Pattern.-- This pattern was used at the Hotel Bossert , Brooklyn NY. According to Wikipedia Hotel Bossert was once known as "the Waldorf-Astoria of Brooklyn". It was the site of the celebration of the Brooklyn Dodgers' only World Series championship. In the 1950s, the Bossert was the home of several Brooklyn Dodger players.
