Here is a legendary ship in a bottle from the famous workshop of ROBIN HOOD'S BAY. It features the Mayflower. The HAIG bottle measures 6" by 4" high and has great details as I hope the photos will show. Sealed with a red cap with the Robin Hood's Bay foil label. Buyer will pay 1 pound shipping. Robin Hood'sBay is on the north east coast of England, It is an easy sail from the coast of France via the English Channel. While the is no historic account that Robin Hood was near Robin Hood's Bay as it is located in the moors of Yorkshire.There is an old legend that a band of French pirates looted the small fishing village ant that Robin Hood captured them returning the villagers property. Thus, the name Robin Hood's Bay. John Milsom started the thriving ship in a bottle business at Robin Hood's Bay in the 1960s, where he oversaw the meticulous sailor's art of making ships in a bottle.
