Hampshire, Great Britain Made in Malaysia by Selcraft ™ by: Jon Herbert 7" HIGH X 5" DIAMETER Original Retail: $65.00 Auction Starting Price: $25.00 T WERE VERY FEW OF THE JON HERBERT SHOEHOUSES MADE, AND THE DEMAND BY COLLECTORS IS VERY HIGH TO COMPLETE THEIR SHOEHOUSE COLLECTIONS. SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AN INVESTMENT, THIS IS THE COLLECTIBLE FOR YOU. Felt Bottom with Label containing the Name of each ShoeHouse, the Artist and Manufacture. This Piece has been in a Glass Case since I purchased it in 1990. Each Shoe House that I bought was placed inside a Glass Display Case and is in the exact same condition as it was when I bought it. The John Hine Studios "ShoeHouses" Collection by Jon Herbert was extremely hard to find because only a select few shops carried them. I tried to collect the entire line of ShoeHouses but several of them were impossible to find. I did however manage to collect 16 different ones plus duplicates of 2 of them. Each one is absolutely Beautiful and Exquisitely Done. Each time I look at them I notice something else on them that I didn't notice before. The detail is beyond belief, and each ShoeHouse follows a theme and the design is quite Rare and Uniquely Different from any Figurine on the Market Today. Please take time to check out the other ShoeHouses I have listed. You will be amazed at the quality and the amount of detail the artist has managed to work onto each piece. "The detail on this figurine is exquisit. You can look at it and the next time you pick it up, you will notice something else that you didn't see the first, second or third time you looked at it." T is more detail on this Figurine that you can imagine. No matter which angle you look at, you will see something related to the theme of the Shoe. Even the Door has lots of detail on it, so look at the door of each Figurine I have on auction because you will be amazed at the objects that the artist managed to place on the door. On the "SHIVER ME TIMBERS" ShoeHouse the front door has an Anchor on it and the door knob is a Starfish. T is a Captains Wheel just to the right of the door. The Shoehouse is sitting on an Island. T is sand with drift wood, shells, moss and other articles that have drifted in from the Ocean. The entire top half of the ShoeHouse is a Giant Ship complete with anchors, lantern etc. On the right side of the ShoeHouse is a large cave. T is something in it, but I am really not quite sure what it is. Keep looking at the ShoeHouse, you will notice several things I haven't noticed yet. These ShoeHouses are unbelieveable, it's almost like the detail on each one changes or just appears out of now Each time I look at them, I see things I never noticed before. THE "BLUE BABY BOOTY" IS JUST ONE OF THE MANY SHOEHOUSES FROM THE "SHOEMAKER'S DREAM COLLECTION".
