This listing is for a very rare and unique Shotgun Shell Pouch. It is a transition pouch issued between the wars. This was the first 12 round pouch, and bridged the gap between the 32 round pouch and the WWII M-1938. The pouch is made almost identical to the later M 38, with the exception of the reinforcing band sewn around the outer face and the "lift the dot" fasteners being the WWI type. The color is a faded khaki/mustard shade. The inside of the pouch is not as faded as the outside and is a true WWI khaki shade. The pouch is not marked as to who or when it was manufactured. This pouch will add to any trench or riot gun collection and could easily highlight any pouch collection! It is a duplicate pouch from my personal collection.
