Siaz PETOSKEY STONE SP FOSSIL CORAL BALL 2.75"D 69mm Petoskey Stone Sp - Michigan State Stone This is a beautiful petoskey stone sp Petoskey stone is a colony coral called hexagonaria percarinata that thrived 350 million years ago during the Devonian period in an area covered with water and what is now Michigan. Dale, the spmaker, made this petoskey stone sp and he did a great job. The material is of good quality and the sp has a very nice polish. T is some porosity, common in petoskey stone and some dark color in a couple or areas. This petoskey stone sp is an outstanding collector's item. The approximate diameter of this petoskey stone sp is 2.75" or 69 mm and it weighs about 15 oz. Please note that t are more photos of this petoskey stone following the description.
