SID VICIOUS Insanely rare poster depicting Sid selling memorabilia V2144 1979 Reluctantly selling this rare poster from 1979 for the SID SINGS album! It simply reads "Sid Vicious OUT NOW ON VIRGIN. V2144" It has the Virgin logo on the bottom right-hand corner. Overall in excellent condition. It has default manufacturer creases (folded in half and half again) but has been kept flat. Measures approx 19" x 28" or 485mm x 710mm. It has never been framed so has not faded. There is a little minor creasing to three corners (see close-up pics). I have only ever come across this poster once and that was when I purchased it. It is known of and can be found in various auction catalogues and Sex Pistols memorabilia books. It is on page 89 of "God Save The Sex Pistols - A Collectors Guide to the Priest of Punk" by Gavin Walsh published by Plexus in 2003. The caption from this book reads: Sid Vicious (Virgin V2144) also free w/Sid Sings LP; a shot of Sid selling Pistols/Glitterbest memorabilia at a stall - the rarest of the three editions, colour, C, Rare.
