The maquette was created using castings from original molds from the original film sculptural and paint studies, reposed to create the most dynamic and display-friendly collectible possible. The creature is captured in a crouching pose, with his whip-like tail held aloft and prepared to strike. The Dog Alien is cast in high-quality polystone, hand finished and hand painted to exacting standards, and promises to be the highest quality and most authentic Dog Alien Maquette ever produced!ADI and Sideshow Collectibles have once again joined forces to transform one of Hollywood's most memorable monsters into a high-quality collectible. Amalgamated Dynamics, INC. (ADI) was formed by Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis, who first worked together on Aliens at Stan Winton Studios. One of ADI's first projects was Alien3 , in which Ripley crash-lands on Fury 161, a remote maximum-security prison planet. In the script, a facehugger has stowed aboard, and quickly finds a nice warm host for the incubation of a full Alien Warrior, a pet dog.
