SIEGFRIED SASSOON Old Century & 7 More Years 1st Max Beerbohm !!!NO RESERVE - LOW OPENING BID!!! SIEGFRIED SASSOON The Old Century and Seven More Years. Faber & Faber 1938 (1st.). Dark mottled cloth with gilt to spine and green title panel. 293pp. With b/w title-vignette. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to edges, a few tiny nicks head of spine. Slight browning to endpapers. Owner’s inscription on front endpaper. Else a clean and tight copy. This "daisy of a book" was Sassoon’s personal favourite of all his prose works containing two autobiographical pieces from Sassoon, from his birth in 1886 until 1907. It is dedicated to Max Beerbohm who materially assisted Sassoon by punctuating the text at proof stage.
