We are offing this Fantastic Rare Limited Edition lithograph featuring Mike entitled "In Walden Puddle" from original artwork for the famed comic strip "DOONESBURY" created by Garry Trudeau. The litho is unframed and in good shape. It is hand signed by the artist , Garry Trudeau and hand numbered in an edition on only 225 in the year or 1993. The image size of the piece is roughly 18" x 13". The entire piece measures 27" x 22". This is a limited edition litho , not a painting, Sericel, or "Model Cel". Frequently political in nature, Doonesbury's characters profess a range of affiliations, but the cartoon's editorial slant is primarily noted for a liberal outlook. The title comes from the name of one of the main characters, Michael Doonesbury, a character Trudeau originally modeled after himself. The character's name is a combination of the word doone -- 1960s prep school slang for "someone unafraid to appear foolish" -- with the surname of the roommate who was given that nickname, Charles Pillsb ury. Shipping is $12.00 via US Priority Mail within the United States. The print will be rolled and shipped in a mailing tube. International shipping rates depend on your location.
