You are bidding on an original HANDEL bronze floor lamp made between 1900-1905. The shade is original to this lamp and has no marks or signature that I can find. The floor lamp is very heavy bronze and the signature Handel is impressed in the base. It measures 60" TALL and 9 1/2" at the base. The shade is gold Aurene color and measures 10" round and is 5 1/2" high. The shade is very,very irridescent and in perfect condition, with a few tiny flake chips w it is held in the fixture, but these do not show at all. The screws which hold the shade in place are bronze, one of the three is replaced with a new screw. It has a key style switch. The finish is the original patina. The LAMP has been rewired with the antique style best quality silk cord and old looking plug. All Sales Final.
