RARE SIGNED JEFFORDS YELLOWARE BOWL DESCRIPTION: In the interest of downsizing a twenty-five-year collection of antiques, a RARE YELLOWARE BOWL is being offered. The attractive early form has a footed base with a rolled rim, flared sides and a rolled rim at the top. It is beautifully decorated with 13 slip bands , two blue on the top and bottom encasing the nine white. What makes this bowl even more special is that it is signed with the diamond insignia of JEFFORDS POTTERY of PHILADELPHIA. Bowls like this are extremely hard to find so don't miss out on this one! AGE: 1880 ORIGIN: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania DIMENSIONS: 6 1/2" tall, 6" diameter at base, 14 1/2" diameter at top CONDITION: This bowl has characteristics common to pottery of this age and use as seen in the pictures . The interior bears witness to its utilitarian purpose and use. Miraculously it has NO HAIRLINES, CRACKS or REPAIRS and is GUARANTEED OLD.
