Daisies and Larkspur by Marguerite S. Pearson Fresh out of Rhode Island estate, this choice floral still life is by well-listed artist Marguerite Pearson. In excellent condition, the painting is titled on the reverse "Daisies and Larkspur" and is painted on board. The image measures 12 x 16 inches and is in exceptional condition. No flaking and no repairs needed or done to this work. Paint is wonderful and bright, with no crazing. Painting is housed in original, period frame with linen/gilt liner, and measures 18.5 x 22.5 inches overall. Signed very nicely in lower right. Beautifully painted and typical of Pearson's mature floral works. This is guaranteed to be an original by Pearson, not an enhanced print that you see online. There is an exhibit of her works at the Rockport Art Association this summer, starting July 22, as part of the organization's 90th anniversary. RAA is one of the oldest and most active art organizations in the country, including a museum and collection of Pearson contemporaries Aldro Hibbard, Anthony Thieme, Paul Strisik, W.
